An excellent collaborative effort of soulful Chi MC Thaione Davis and Swiss beatmaker J Sayne -- with passionate and pointed rhymes by Thai and production from Sayne that rolls from lively and hard hitting to laidback and trippy! Thaione is a strong producer/beatmaker on his own -- so it's quite possible that by focusing exclusively on the lyrics and rhymes for this project that his pen is all the sharper for it. Whatever the case, it's one of the more transcendent "day in the life" style hip hop records we've heard in a while, with J Sayne's production providing a timelessly inventive backdrop.
